Fulton County Animal Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the only animal shelter
serving Fulton County, Indiana.
We take in Fulton County's lost, abandoned, and surrendered dogs & cats, providing them with compassionate care, medical attention, and a second chance at life.
As a no-kill shelter, we're proud to have a 97.8% save rate for dogs and 97.6% save rate for cats in 2025.
Beyond adoptions, we serve our community through our Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic (open to everyone)
and a Low-Cost Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic (open to residents of Fulton County, IN)
Our mission is to educate, inspire, and empower responsible pet ownership,
keeping pets happy, healthy, and home.
We take animals by appointment only
We are consistently operating at or over capacity. We must plan head to ensure we have space and resources available for each animal.
Please call or message before bringing an animal to the shelter.

*Residents of Starke, Miami, Marshall, Pulaski & Kosciusko accepted until May 2026. However, all spots have been filled.
